Greek firms get European distinctions

Officials and staff of Greek company Piscines Ideales are celebrating winning the top award for small enterprises (employing between 50 and 500 people) in the Europe-wide competition ‘Best Workplaces,’ organized by the Great Place to Work institute. Microsoft Hellas, along with the Microsoft subsidiaries of another 15 European countries, came in first in the category of companies with 500 or more employees. Greek bottler Coca-Cola Hellenic was in 128th place but also won the special Pride at Work award. The ceremony for the awards took place on Wednesday at Baden in Austria, featuring the continent’s top 100 companies ranked according to their working environment.
