Intralot wins 10th US contract
Intralot, the world’s second-largest gambling services company, said yesterday it has been selected by Vermont Lottery to operate its online and instant games management, its tenth US lottery contract. In a six-year contract, there will be an option for an additional two-year renewals, beginning on July 1, 2010. No financial details of the agreement were disclosed. «Just a few weeks after our agreement with the New Hampshire Lottery and a few months after our latest contracts in Louisiana and Ohio, Intralot ratifies its commitment to expand dynamically in the US market,» said Intralot CEO Constantinos Antonopoulos in a statement. Intralot is present in more than 50 countries, including Australia, Peru and China. Shares in Intralot rose 0.48 percent on the Athens bourse yesterday to end at 4.22 euros versus a 1.47 percent advance on the broader market.
