Greek-Russian shipping agreement

Reshetov sign a bilateral agreement that promotes the two countries’ shipping relations. Under the agreement, the Greek authority authorizes the Russian organization to conduct inspections and issue the necessary certificates for ships and companies in the context of international treaties, as well as European and national legislation on ship safety and the protection of the marine environment. The agreement, signed yesterday in Athens, ‘is in line with our desire for the development of free and healthy competition,’ Papaligouras said.
