Emporiki Bank…

Emporiki Bank, owned by France’s Societe Generale, registered considerable losses in the first half of the year, amounting to 358.7 million euros, against just 15.1 million euros in the same period in 2008. The Greek lender is now focusing on restructuring its loan and deposits portfolios as well as on increasing its provisions.
