Intralot wins new US deal

Intralot, the world’s second-largest gambling services company, said yesterday it was awarded a seven-year contract to supply terminals for a new lottery in the US state of Arkansas. No financial details of the agreement were provided. Under the terms of the contract, Intralot will supply approximately 3,200 terminals along with the relevant peripherals, the company said in a statement. «Our company has been winning new lottery contracts because of our ability to get the job done right and on time. We have been exceeding our partner’s expectations,» said Intralot’s USA president and CEO Tom Little. Intralot is present in more than 50 countries, including Australia, Peru and China. Shares in Intralot, which has a market capitalization of 683.5 million euros, jumped 1.18 percent on the Athens stock exchange yesterday to 4.30 euros, outperforming a 1.36 percent retreat on the broader market.
