Investors cash in recent gains

Greek stocks lost almost 1 percent yesterday as investors cashed in gains after the market advanced for four straight sessions. The Athens bourse’s benchmark general index eased 0.95 percent to 2,510.56 points, dipping to as low as 2,501 points mid-session. The blue chip FTSE/ATHEX 20 index retreated 0.97 percent to 1,327.62 points. Betting company OPAP underperformed, dropping 4.39 percent to 17.21 euros. Intralot also lost ground, shedding 2.52 percent to 4.65 euros. Publisher DOL soared 9.57 percent to 3.09 euros, bringing gains in the last week to 41.7 percent. Turnover reached 500.2 million euros, after Eurobank’s private placement, versus 195 million euros in the previous session.
