Aktor clinches Montenegro deal with Israeli partner

Aktor of Greece and Israel’s HCH have won the bidding to build a 170-kilometer stretch of highway in Montenegro, said Andrija Lompar, the Balkan country’s transportation minister, according to press reports. Aktor and HCH will construct the road linking the Adriatic port of Bar with the Serbian border for 23.5 million euros per kilometer, Lompar said in Podgorica yesterday. Aktor-HCH, which secured a 30-year concession agreement as part of the deal, is expected to begin roadwork in the next four months and to complete the project by 2014.
