Confusion reigns in the IT market
Information technology companies may be aware of potential IT projects worth tens of millions of euros but do not know how, by whom and in what way they will be implemented. This uncertainty generates confusion among entrepreneurs, as the market is full of rumors about the assignment of projects without tenders, while the firms are preparing for massive layoffs. There are four domains where the government intends to intervene by using IT to monitor transactions: in public procurements, the fuel market, drugs industry and so-called ‘citizen’s card,’ to contain all personal numbers such as tax registration, social security number etc.
