Greece’s telephone regulator EETT…

Greece’s telephone regulator EETT ordered OTE telecom to stop offering six new combined packages for Internet and phone access after complaints from rivals. OTE, which hadn’t sought authorization from the regulator to sell the products, will be fined 100,000 euros a day for each day it doesn’t comply with the order, EETT said yesterday. The decision came after complaints from rivals including Wind Hellas, the regulator added. OTE responded by saying that EETT’s decision prevents consumers from benefiting from cheaper products during this difficult economic time.
