The central bank imposed…

The central bank imposed fines totaling 902,000 euros on 20 banks active in Greece for a range of infringements, including failing to properly disclose information about certain transactions to customers. Data from a statement issued by the Bank of Greece (pictured) yesterday showed that the largest fine went to Attica Bank (220,000 euros), followed by a 160,000-euro penalty imposed on Eurobank EFG. Other offenses committed by lenders include failing to provide supervising bodies with information regarding complaints made by customers to authorities.
