Panhellenic Exporters Association…

Greek exports in the first six months of 2010 rose 2.2 percent to 7.32 billion euros, versus an 18.4 percent decline in the same period a year earlier, according to figures from the Panhellenic Exporters Association (PEA). The majority of exports are made up of agricultural products and industrial goods, such as machinery and chemicals. PEA President Christina Sakellaridis welcomed government plans to provide export companies with subsidies as part of a development law currently being drawn up.
