Aegean Airlines…
Aegean Airlines is expected to report a weak set of second-quarter results today on lower demand for its services, increasing competition due to sector overcapacity and higher jet fuel prices, according to Proton Securities. The brokerage expects Aegean to show a 16.5-million-euro net loss versus an 8.8-million-euro profit in the same period last year. Shares in Aegean Airlines have tumbled more than 21 percent in the last three months versus a 2.6 percent advance on the broader Athens market.
