Photovoltaic systems…

The procedures required for the installation of solar panels on buildings and sports stadiums will be simplified, according to two decisions made yesterday by the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Ministry. Owners of photovoltaic systems of up to 100 kilowatts located on the roofs of buildings will be required to notify their local electricity grid operator but will not have to obtain a building permit from the local town-planning office. Systems above 100 kW require a permit.
