The International Monetary Fund expects Greece to return to the markets within the next 12 to 18 months, the Athens News Agency reported, citing comments from Caroline Atkinson, the IMF’s foreign relations director. Speaking to reporters in Washington, Atkinson noted that the Greek program was proceeding as anticipated and stressed that the Greek government’s contacts with its creditors during a recent road show held by Finance Minister Giorgos Papaconstantinou and troika experts ‘went very well.’
