Weather girl turned television reporter Petroula Kostidou grills Poul Thomsen, the IMF’s mission chief for Greece, in Athens yesterday on the country’s economic progress. A team of representatives from the IMF, European Central Bank and European Commission, known as ‘the troika’ in the press, arrived in Athens on Monday and will be in the country until the middle of next week to determine how well Greece is meeting the targets set in the memorandum for the 110- billion-euro support mechanism agreed upon in May.
