Ancient coral formations being explored
Coral formations as old as 7,500 years old are being mapped by the Archipelagos Marine Conservation Institute as part of a pilot program to protect the Aegean Sea’s reefs, starting with areas off the islands of Amorgos, Fournoi, Donousa and Kinaros.
