Athens City Hall spreads message of remembrance
A message marking Holocaust Remembrance Day lights up the front of City Hall in downtown Athens, on Thursday, as part of a global campaign by the World Jewish Congress (WJC). Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou lay a wreath at the Holocaust Memorial in Thiseio on Thursday, saying in a message earlier “we renew our commitment that the darkness of antisemitism and racism will never again prevail.” [InTime News]
