Greek swimmer takes silver in dramatic photo finish
Silver medalist Spyros Gianniotis of Greece poses after the men’s 10 km marathon swim at Copacabana Tuesday during the Rio Olympics. Ferry Weertman of the Netherlands took the gold in a photo finish. Gianniotis, 36, appeared to cross the finish line first, but the Dutchman touched the timing pad before him. Both were credited with the same time, 1 hour, 52 minutes, 59.8 seconds.
