Olympic torch lit for PyeongChang Winter Games
Greek actress Katerina Lehou, in the role of the High Priestess, lights a torch during a ceremony for the handover of the Olympic flame at the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) in Athens Tuesday. The ceremony, which featured a Greek gymnastics troupe and Korean dancers and was attended by President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, marked the end of the flame’s week-long tour of Greece ahead of the 100-day journey it will now take around the Republic of Korea.
