Villagers in Langada…

Villagers in Langada, in Aitoloakarnania, western Greece, inspect a huge hole in the ground caused by ground subsidence following a moderately strong earthquake on New Year’s Eve. The quake, which registered 5 on the Richter scale, originated in the bed of the Amvrakikos Gulf but caused no immediately visible damage.
