Light tremor rattles Konitsa

A light earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale shook the region of Epirus, in northwestern Greece, early Tuesday morning.

The quake hit shortly after 2 a.m. at an epicentre located 24 km east-north of the town of Konitsa, the Geodynamics Institute of National Observatory of Athens said on Tuesday.

No damages were reported.
