Man arrested for stealing Covid vaccine
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of two vials of Covid-19 vaccine from a vaccination centre in Peristeri, western Athens, on Tuesday.
Police say the man, a suspected drug user, had visited the site in order to get vaccinated. They say the man was arrested after staff reported that two vials of the Pfizer vaccine were missing after his appointment.
The suspect will appear before a prosecutor.
