Afghan attempts to set himself alight outside US Embassy in Athens

An Afghan man is being questioned by police after attempting to set himself on fire outside the US Embassy in Athens on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said that the man was at the corner of Petrou Kokkali and Gelonos Streets at 3.30 p.m. when he doused himself with a flammable liquid. However, police officers in the area immobilized him before he set himself on fire.
