Consortium pays €1.49 bln for 35-year Egnatia management

Greece’s privatization fund TAIPED has awarded the GEK Terna-Egis Projects consortium the rights to operate the Egnatia Highway for a 35-year period for €1.49 billion.

This is the highest sum the fund has ever received for a state property.
