Man dies after road accident outside Parliament

A man died in a road accident outside Parliament in the early hours of Monday morning. According to information from the scene, the man was hit by a taxi at approximately 5.30 a.m. on Vasilissis Amalias Avenue near the Parliament building.
The man was taken to hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The police are investigating the accident. [AMNA]
