Man strangles wife to death in Laconia

A man strangled his 36-year-old wife to death in the Peloponnesian region of Laconia on Monday. After the crime, the 40-year-old called the police and confessed to the crime.
Police went to the couple’s apartment and found the woman unconscious. She was rushed to a local hospital where doctors confirmed her death.
The man, who is an Albanian national, said he killed his wife after a heated argument.
