Search continues for missing Mount Athos monk

A search and rescue operation to locate a missing monk of the monastic community of Mount Athos in northern Greece continued for a second day on Thursday, with the participation of a coast guard vessel and police patrol cars.
The 58-year-old monk went missing after taking a boat out to sea to fish on Monday, with the authorities being alerted on Wednesday after he failed to return or make contact with his fellow monks.
