Cold snap forces school closure on Mon, Tue

[InTime News]
Schools will shut down on Monday and Tuesday in the Attica region – which includes the capital Athens – because of the unusually cold weather, and expected snowfall, that the storm Elpis (Hope) will bring.
“We want to ensure the health and safety of the students and teaching personnel,” said regional governor Giorgos Patoulis.
Schools will also close in most of the Central Greece region, as well as Crete.
