Three police officers suspended over Chania convict escape

The leadership of the Hellenic Police has ordered a sworn administrative inquiry on Monday to investigate five police officers and has suspended three of them in connection to the escape of five convicts in the early hours of Monday morning.
The five escaped men have all been convicted of serious crimes, from murder to drug smuggling.
