Explosion damages building in Thessaloniki

Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of gas canisters outside the Institute for National and Religious Affairs (INRA) in the Ano Poli neighborhood of Thessaloniki in northern Greece.

Firefighters arrived quickly to contain the fire caused by the 2 a.m. explosion. No injuries were reported. 

The motives behind the attack are not clear.
