Explosive device goes off outside building in central Athens
Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of firecrackers and flammable liquid outside an apartment building in Athens’ downtown Pangrati district on Thursday morning.
The explosion caused a small fire and some damage to the entrance of the building, according to a TV report. The same report said that police officers live in the building which could be the reason behind the attack.
No injuries were reported.
