Dendias meets China ambassador

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met with China Ambassador Xiao Junzheng on Wednesday.

Talks focused on bilateral issues and the situation in Ukraine, Dendias said in a tweet.

No more information was immediately available about the meeting.

On Tuesday, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba asked his Chinese counterpart in a phone call to use Beijing’s ties with Moscow to stop Russia’s military incursion.
