Coast Guard rescues 100 people off Paros

The Hellenic Coast Guard has rescued over 100 migrants and refugees off the island of Paros in the Cyclades on Sunday. According to information, the Coast Guard received the distress call at approximately 11 a.m.
A total of seven Coast Guard ships participated in the rescue operation with all those in danger reported to have boarded the coast guard vessels. They are expected to arrive at the Leros Reception and Identification Center later on Sunday.
