Police in manhunt after armed bank robbery
Police have launched a manhunt for two people after an armed bank robbery in western Attica on Monday.
The robbery took place at a bank branch in Menidi, a western suburb of Athens.
Initial information suggests the two perpetrators entered the bank pretending to be customers. Producing a gun, they immobilized bank staff and demanded cash.
It is unclear how much money was stolen in the incident.
