Elderly woman, 83 found dead at home

An elderly woman was found dead inside her home in the northeastern municipality of Nestos on Monday.
According to initial reports, the 83-year-old lived with her son and grandson in the town of Chrysochori.
Citing neighbors, local media said she was a victim of domestic violence for years.
Police in nearby Kavala are investigating the circumstances of the woman’s death.
