Fire breaks out on Samos

A fire has been reported in a wooded area near the Vronda Monastery on the island of Samos on Tuesday.

The Hellenic Fire Service is on the scene and tackling the blaze with 33 firefighters, 11 vehicles, and two aircraft.

In addition, local authorities and volunteers are also operating in the area.
