Man detained in Ilia on European arrest warrant
A Greek national was detained in the town of Amaliada, Ilia, on Wednesday afternoon on a European arrest warrant that was pending against him.
According to police, the arrest warrant had been issued by German authorities for alleged rape. There were no further details on the man.
In a separate arrest, police detained a fugitive in Gastouni, Ilia, who had been convicted to three years in jail for numerous thefts.
