Homemade bomb found outside SYRIZA’s local branch in Patissia

Authorities are investigating after a homemade explosive device was found outside SYRIZA’s local organization in the Athens suburb of Patissia on Wednesday.
It is unclear why the device, made up of small gas canisters and a plastic bottle containing a flammable liquid, did not detonate.
The bomb squad was called in to inspect and remove the device. Investigators are currently trying to collect DNA and fingerprint samples.
