Mitsotakis, Johnson discuss Ukraine, NATO summit in call

Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis held a phone conversation with British counterpart Boris Johnson on Tuesday, during which they discussed the challenges ahead of next week’s NATO Summit in Madrid, his office said in a press release.

Mitsotakis informed Johnson about Greece’s support for Ukraine’s EU accession process and the granting of candidate status.

The two officials also agreed to meet in Madrid on the sidelines of the summit, if their plans allow.
