Two injured in sailboat fire in Alimos marina

Two people were injured on Monday when a fire broke out on a sailboat anchored in the Alimos marina in southern Athens.
The incident took place earlier in the morning at pier E, when a fire broke out at the boat’s engine. The crew was able to extinguish the blaze before the fire fighters arrived at the scene.
The two injured crew members were transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for burns, the extend of which was not clear.
