Trapper run in for weapons
A well-known trap musician was arrested, along with a friend, on Saturday morning in the Athens district of Agios Panteleimonas for the illegal possession of a gun and knives.
According to reports, he was nabbed at around 2.30 a.m. on Saturday morning when officers of the DIAS motorcycle unit hailed down his car.
The officers found an unlicensed pistol in the possession of the 26-year-old trapper and a butterfly knife. His 21-year-old passenger also had a similar knife.
The trapper has fallen foul of the law before, being recently implicated in a knife attack at a cafe-bar in the western Athens suburb of Peristeri.
