Celebrated author Jina Politi passes away at 93

Renowned author and academic Jina Politi passed away on Wednesday at the age of 93. The award-winning author was born in Athens in 1930 and studied English Literature at Columbia University before earning her PhD.
She was an Emeritus Professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and also served as a Fellow of Churchill College at the University of Cambridge. Her work on English language, Greek, and comparative literature have been published both in Greece and internationally.
