We don’t learn
Greek society is often very unpleasantly surprised. Like when it discovers that the country only has two transport aircraft or very few search and rescue helicopters.
And if this was a matter of funds there would be an excuse, but it is not, because behind these shortcomings there is bad management and the absence of a Greek defense industry and technical support.
In every crisis we pay the price of decades of inaction, and yet we still don’t learn.
