Shipyard workers demonstrate
Over 500 shipyard workers demonstrated outside the Merchant Marine Ministry in Piraeus yesterday to protest at the deaths of five maintenance workers in an explosion during repairs on the Bahamas-flagged Sailor tanker off Salamis on Saturday. Workers launched a 48-hour strike yesterday, seeking better security measures.
