16-year-old motorcyclist fatally struck by 17-year-old truck driver in Evia

A 16-year-old boy was killed in Karystos on the island of Evia on Thursday after being struck by a truck driven by a 17-year-old.
The 17-year-old had taken his father’s truck and hit the victim, who was riding a motorcycle. Both teenagers attended the same school.
Police arrested the 17-year-old and his father for neglecting to supervise a minor.
An investigation is underway to determine if the father allowed his son to drive the truck or if the minor took it without consent.
