Elderly man beaten by son dies in hospital

An 82-year-old man in Thessaloniki who was allegedly beaten by his 42-year-old son last week died from his injuries on Thursday.
The elderly man had been intubated at the Papanikolaou Hospital since last Sunday.
The 42-year-old perpetrator was arrested earlier this week after a doctor at the hospital told police that the victim had confided to him that he had been beaten by his son.
