Driver arrested after striking pedestrian in Halkidiki

A 33-year-old woman was struck by a car outside Chanioti in the northern Halkidiki region on Saturday night.
She was taken to the hospital with her condition not considered life-threatening.
The 36-year-old driver, a Ukrainian national, was arrested and remains in custody. He faces charges including negligent bodily harm, reckless driving and traffic violations.
