Man found stabbed to death in his own home

A man, 46, was found dead in his home in Nea Smyrni, Athens, on Friday afternoon with stab wounds to the abdomen and neck.
The autopsy confirmed that the man’s death was the result of criminal activity.
His sister, who is mentally disabled, discovered the body and alerted the authorities.
The man had been discharged from Nikaia Hospital a day earlier, according to public broadcaster ERT.
A police investigation is underway. The victim’s sister is considered a suspect and has been summoned to the local police station to testify.
