Driver who struck family near Thessaloniki has DUI record
Greek police reported on Friday that the driver who hit a family of three near Thessaloniki on Wednesday has a history of drink-driving. The 46-year-old driver had previously been fined for similar offences.
The parents, aged 34 and 37, are in critical condition in hospital. The 34-year-old mother, who was five months pregnant, suffered a miscarriage. Their two-year-old child is in a stable condition.
