Principal arrested for sexual harassment of student in Achaia

A 65-year-old principal in Achaia, southern Greece, was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a 14-year-old female student.
According to the complaint filed by the student’s father, the 65-year-old allegedly made gestures and remarks towards the teen during two classes.
The student informed her parents upon returning home, and they, in turn, went to the police, where they reported the incident and filed a complaint against the principal.
The suspect was subsequently arrested and brought before the prosecutor in Patras, who decided to release him pending trial.
According to sources, the principal denies the charges claiming that it is a misunderstanding.
